WORLDWIDE SYMPOSIUM ON GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATIONS IN BUDAPEST

The 2015 edition of the Worldwide Symposium on Geographical Indications, jointly organised by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO), will take place in Budapest from 20 to 22 October 2015.

The Symposium is a forum for international experts, representatives of the academia, member states’ administrations, and owners of geographical indications, producers of products with appellations of origin, as well as non-governmental organisations to exchange views on various professional issues. The number of guests coming from all over the world may reach 200.

Venue of the Symposium is Hotel InterContinental Budapest.

Working languages are English and French with simultaneous interpretation.

Participation at the Symposium is free of charge but registration is obligatory.
