The joint seminar of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office and the EUIPO ended with great success

In the afternoon of 7 March 2025, the seminar jointly organized by the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO) and the Boards of Appeal of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO BoA) in Budapest ended with great success.

Today's program included, among others, the following topics:

• Assessing likelihood of confusion between short marks
• Signs which are contrary to public policy or accepted principles of morality
• Cooperation and convergence of practices
• Perspectives on IP Mediation

During the two-day event, experts from HIPO, the EUIPO BoA, and experts invited from Hungary and the countries of the region delivered lectures and participated in roundtable discussions.
