Budapest (Hungary), 6th May 2010: Intellectual Property, the Business Tool of SMEs
The Hungarian Patent Office (HPO), in the framework of the IPeuropAware project, is co-organizing with International Trade Development Agency Hungary (ITDH) the SEED (Small Enterprise Economic Development) Foundation, Enterprise Europe Network, is organizing the seminar "Intellectual Property the Business Tool of SMEs" at Budapest, on 6th May 2010.
On the event the "Practical Guide for Footwear, Leather Goods, Furniture, and Textiles-Clothing, Sectors" will be presented.
To help SMEs make use of the wide range of instruments that are available to protect intellectual property, the EU-funded project "IPeuropAware - IP Awareness and Enforcement: Modular Based Actions for SMEs", has developed guides for industries that are particularly hard hit by counterfeiting (textiles, furniture, leather goods and shoes). The aim of this event is to present the integrated Hungarian version of this Guide (it will be delivered) and to explain the role of the IPeuropAware project. In addition, HPO and SEED will present their support services and activities. Representatives of innovative SMEs will present their good practices on IPR .
