The Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan visits HIPO

On 20 January 2026 Mr Akbar Tashkulov, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and his delegation visited
the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO). The guests were received by Mr Szabolcs Farkas, President of HIPO.
During the discussions the parties overviewed the developments concerning intellectual property, as well as the perspectives
of cooperation between the two institutions. At the meeting, President Farkas and Minister Tashkulov signed the Action Plan
related to the Memorandum of Understanding concluded in 2025, which defines specific measures to be implemented in respect
of cooperation in the field of intellectual property.
The signed documents are important milestones of the partnership between the two countries and t he meeting provided a valuable
opportunity to further strengthen the already fruitful relationship.
