ISO certificate

Since January 2011 the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office has been performing its activities under an integrated management system certified according to ISO standards

The functions of the Office concerning the official examinations and procedures related to industrial property protection and copyright, international search and preliminary examination proceedings for the Visegrad Patent Institute (VPI), functions related to qualification procedures and delivering expert opinion concerning R&D activities, state functions concerning documentation and information, and other services related to the basic functions of the Office.

The security of information systems used for the functions of the Office concerning the official examinations and procedures related to industrial property protection and copyright, international search and preliminary examination proceedings for the Visegrad Patent Institute (VPI), functions related to qualification procedures and delivering expert opinion concerning R&D activities, state functions concerning documentation and information, other services related to the basic functions of the Office, and other functions listed in the Deed of Foundation; in accordance with the Statement of Applicability.
