2025. September 23.
On September 19, 2025, a trilateral meeting was held at HIPO with the participation of James Kelly, Contoller of the Intellectual
Property Office of Ireland, Agris Batalauskis, Director of the Latvian Patent Office, and Szabolcs Farkas, President of the
SZTNH.
During the meeting, the heads of the three offices shared the latest developments and issues affecting their operations, as
well as their future strategic objectives. They also reviewed their cooperation with the European Patent Office (EPO), the
European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

We were particularly pleased that Dr. Johanna Stadler, Director of the Visegrad Patent Institute (VPI), also participated
in the meeting, presenting the activities and services of the VPI and contributing to possible future cooperation.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen relations between the three offices and to outline possibilities
for further successful cooperation

We would like to thank our guests for their visit and we are confident that our partnership will continue to be successful in the future.
