Official information
After the publication of the European patent application, the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office opens for public inspection its published content, and ensures access to the entries of the Register of European Patents relating to the European patent application.
Furthermore, the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office publishes official information in its official journal and ensures the possibility of inspection prescribed by the Law in respect of the following:
- provisional protection conferred by the publication of the European patent application,
- the translation of the text of the European patent (in order for the European patent to become effective in Hungary),
- European patents maintained with modification as a result of the opposition procedure, and
- corrections of the translation of the claims and the description.
